The Worship and Music Committee endeavors to provide meaningful worship experiences to support the family of faith in establishing a growing relationship with Christ.

Responsibilities

Develop innovative and creative ways to approach ministry and worship. Assist in the work of the Music Ministry, which consists of 5 children’s choirs, an adult Chancel Choir, several praise teams, 2 bell
choirs and the contemporary band. Work with the following Extension Ministries to enhance the work and ministry of the church:
Altar Guild
Acolytes
Bread Bakers
Communion Assistants
Decoration Team
Greeters
Home Communion
Nursery Staff
Readers
Technology Support
Ushers

Ways to Participate

Members of the congregation may participate in the activities of the Worship and Music Committee
in the following ways:
Sing in a choir, either on a regular basis or for special services
Join the Contemporary Band
Join the technology team for needed sound and projection support
Participate in any of the Extension Ministries that this committee supports.

Yearly Events

The Worship and Music Committee is involved in the planning and implementation of all the worship services, both regular and special occasion, that are part of the worship experiences offered by the
church.
