To empower and encourage all members of Grace Lutheran Church to live out the Great Commission. (Matthew 28: 19-20)
Responsibilities
Help Grace maintain a welcoming environment
Ways to Participate
Become a committee member, we meet the first Tuesday of the month from 7 – 8:00 pm
Volunteer to host the Welcome Desk before and after the Sunday Services
Warmly greet visitors on Holidays with a special gift
Be a welcoming presence at special church events
Help with the planning of certain yearly events
Maintain welcome center host schedule and supplies
Yearly Events
Easter – plan an every member gift and special gifts for visitors, help hand out gifts.
ELCA Service Day (September) – Plan or participate in this event
Rally Day Booth – Come up with a game idea or help staff the booth.
Lighting of the Square – Help with the cookie baking or handing out cookies
Christmas – Help bake quick breads or hand out to visitors at Christmas Services
